DVD Tuesdays – November 10, 2009

up-posterMake ‘em laugh, make ‘em laugh, don’t you know that the whole world wants to laugh this Tuesday November 10, 2009 for the DVD releases.

Spread – In this sexy comedy, Ashton Kutcher is sleeping his way into a life of privilege.  He is currently living off of Anne Heche.  He meets a waitress who is trying to do the same thing and there are sparks.  This sounds like an Ashton Kutcher biopic….

The Accidental Husband – Another comedy!  Uma Thurman is about to get married to Colin Firth the stable reliable sort when she finds out that she is married to the jilted ex-boyfriend of a caller of her phone in show.  This accidental husband is played by the yummy Jeffery Dean Morgan who has done this marriage as a prank to reek havoc on her life.  Can you say date movie?

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard – Starting Jeremy Piven this comedy is about a crack team of car salesmen to help revive the dealership for a fourth of July sale.  Should be good for a few laughs.

The Ugly Truth – Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler star in this romantic comedy.  She is a romantically challenged producer and he is the chauvinistic on-air personality.  He is out to prove his theories on women correct.  You are warned.

Up – This animated comedy/adventure finds Carl Fredricksen pursuing his life-long dream of seeing South America without ever leaving his home.  He achieves this magic through balloons!  He wants to be alone but is surprised to find that he is joined by a stowaway, young wilderness adventurer Russell.  A must-see Pixar flick!  Check out Trista’s review.
