Position: Writer – Film Festivals

Toronto Film Scene is looking for a Film Festival writer. Think it’s for you? See below to find out.
Responsibilities:
- Cover film festivals in Toronto and provide reviews, editorial pieces where appropriate, Q&A footage and interviews (where possible or appropriate) while the festival is on and shortly thereafter.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Must have interest in film and film community.
- Must live or work in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Previous blogging experience an asset.
- Previous film festival coverage an asset.
- Professional demeanor, ability to represent TFS well in the community.
- Experience with Wordpress a definite asset.
- Passes will be provided to the festivals when possible.
