TIFF ’10: Canada First! program announced

TIFF is celebrating the absolute freshest in Canadian filmmaking talent with its seventh edition of Canada First!, a program of six new films. World or North American premiere films from British Columbia, Quebec, and Ontario make up the program, which includes drama, social commentary, and an improvised thriller.

The films screening this year as part of Canada First! are:

Daydream Nation (Mike Goldbach, BC) World Premiere

Amazon Falls (Katrin Bowen, BC) World Premiere

High Cost of Living (Deborah Chow, QC) World Premiere

Jaloux (Patrick Demers, QC) North American Premiere

Oliver Sherman (Ryan Redford, ON) World Premiere

You Are Here (Daniel Cockburn, ON) North American Premiere
