Welcome back for its 12th season, the aluCine Toronto Latin Film + Media Arts Festival! Celebrating accomplishment and innovation in film and new media, the festival promotes short films and installations from new and established Latin artists to a wider audience. AluCine has several programs with diverse themes sure to engage audiences of all backgrounds.
Running from November 15 to 19, this short week is packed full with installations, performances, and film screenings. Revue Cinema (400 Roncesvalles Ave) plays host to all screenings beginning on Wednesday, November 17 and carrying through until Friday November 19. Programs include International shorts and Canadian shorts, as well as a few feature length films. Screenings are scheduled to kick off at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm each day, with an extra program on Friday at 4:00 pm, Shorts for Short People, geared just for the kids.
