NFB Animation Workshops

The NFB Mediatheque has some upcoming animation workshops for adults. If you’ve ever wanted to get yourself some hands-on learning about animated filmmaking, these day-long workshops are the best way to do it.

First up, on Sunday, November 27 is a workshop dedicated to exploring foley sound techniques. The next workshop, on Sunday, December 18, takes a look at classical animation techniques. Both comprehensive workshops run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and cost a mere $12 each, per person.

You must register for the workshops, and since seating is limited, it’s best to register early to avoid disappointment. Call 416-973-3012 to register, or check out the NFB Mediatheque website for more information.

Pam Fossen

Obsessed with watching movies as far back as she can remember, Pam loves film enough to have two university degrees in the subject. When not focused on a movie screen, she can usually be found reading, cooking, touring vineyards, or planning where to spend her vacation time.
