Free Toronto Korean Film Festival screening

Coming up this Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Innis Town Hall (2 Sussex Ave) is a free pre-festival screening of Kimchi Chronicles – a little taste of Korean culture to get you in the mood for the Toronto Korean Film Festival that will run from June 22 to July 1.

Kimchi Chronicles isn’t actually a film, but a PBS television program dedicated to Korean food culture. Ever wondered what goes into your favourite Korean dishes? Well, now’s your chance to find out all about the history and preparation of all that yummy food – Kimchi, bibimbap, and Korean BBQ…mmmm.

It’s a free event at Innis Town Hall (2 Sussex Ave), starting at 7:30 pm. For more information, check out their Facebook page or the Toronto Korean Film Festival website.
