Harold and Maude at Yonge-Dundas Square on July 10, 2012

Yonge-Dundas Square presents a free film screening every Tuesday at dusk as part of their Cult Classics series. The series begins Tuesday, July 10, 2012 with Harold and Maude at 9:00 pm.

The 1971 film stars Bud Cort as Harold, a misunderstood and existential young man who falls for Maude, a quirky 79-year-old woman (Ruth Gordon). The film is directed by Hal Ashby (Being There), and features a soundtrack and songs composed by Cat Stevens.

The screening is free of charge, and starts at 9:00 pm at Yonge-Dundas Square. You can bring your own seating or use the chairs provided, although seating is limited. Other upcoming films include Monty Python and the Holy Grail (July 17, 2012) and The Big Lebowski (July 24, 2012).
