Toronto International Queer West Film Festival brings overlooked films starting August 18, 2012

Saturday, August 18, 2012, the 5th Annual Toronto International Queer West Film Festival comes back to town. Educating, entertaining, and enlightening the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered community and allies, Queer West Film Festival promotes LGBT themes, directors, and actors by bringing to the spotlight films that may otherwise have been overlooked. Boasting a wide selection of shorts from Germany, South Africa, Ireland, and here in Toronto, the three hour long film fest is well rounded and sure to please. Hosted by the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (12 Alexander St.), this is a licensed event. Tickets are Pay What You Can (suggested amount of $5.00) and doors open at 7:00pm.

For a list of participating films as well for further information, you can check out the Toronto International Queer West Film Festival website here, or Buddies in Bad Times Theatre  here.
