Tickets available for Toronto Independent Film Festival running September 6-15, 2012

Though there is plenty of coverage for the Toronto International Film Festival, another film festival is just about to start up as well. The Toronto Independent Film Festival, now in its third year, runs separately but concurrently to TIFF and aims to showcase low-budget independent cinema from North America.

All of the Toronto Independent Events take place at the Toronto Underground Cinema (186 Spadina), from September 6 to 15, 2012. In addition to the vast selection of of full-length indie fare, there will also be nine nights of Short Film programming and a Music Video night on Thursday, September 13, starting at 7:30 pm.

Tickets for the Toronto Independent Film Festival are available now on their website. Passes to the whole festival are $50, and tickets for an evening are only $8. So, if you’re looking for some respite from TIFF, head down to Toronto Underground Cinema from September 6 to 15 and support indie filmmakers.
