Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival returns to this fair city for it’s 16th edition November 6-11, 2012, but submissions for this year’s fest have closed. However, there is still a chance to be a part of Reel Asian 2012 by entering their annual pitch competition. So You Think You Can Pitch , now in its seventh year, is a great opportunity to get your film finished — so get your pitches ready now!
The deadline to enter the competition is September 21, 2012. After that, selected film teams will go through an “intensive boot camp” to learn how to best pitch their film. The final pitching session, in front of a live audience, will take place during the festival. The winner in the Emerging Artist category takes home $3,000 while the award for Established Artist includes $5,000. Both winning teams receive edit suite access and sessions with Charles Street Video, production equipment rentals and more.
Be sure to enter by September 21, and best of luck in your pitch!
