Oliver Twist (1922)
The Toronto Film Society launches its Fall/Winter Series on Sunday, September 30, 2012

The Toronto Film Society, now celebrating its 65th year, will launch the 2012-2012 Fall/Winter screening series on September 30, 2012. The Fall/Winter series includes two separate series of 7 double-bill programmes, the Sunday Matinee Film Buffs series and the Monday Night Film Buffs series. That’s 28 classic films over the course of  one Winter!

All screenings will be held at the Carlton Cinema. Matinee screenings begin at 2 pm and Monday night screenings start at 7:30 pm. Membership is $85 for each complete series, or $85 for a “Pick 7″ membership that allows you to mix and match programmes across each of the series. If you don’t want to commit to an entire series, you can purchase a trial membership at the door of each screening for $15 for the double-bill.

Also, if you become a Toronto Film Society member, you’ll receive two-for-one tickets at any regular screening at the Carlton year round!
