If you’re a fan of short films, you’ll probably be sad to know that the CFC’s A World of Shorts had its final showing in September. Fear not, however – you can still see some awesome short films with the Shorts That Are Not Pants quarterly screening series. And the next on is coming up this Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
The program will feature the 2012 winner of the Bravo FACT! Award for Best Canadian Short, the strange and wonderful Edmond was a Donkey. Also on tap are: Foxes, an award-winning short from Ireland that has been doing the festival rounds; The Secret Number, an American sci-fi drama; a 2007 short from the US called Aftermath on Meadowlark Lane; and an animated western short called The Ballad of Poisonberry Pete. There will even be a couple of world premieres, too; The Cub, a film from the US about being raised by werewolves, and a Canadian short from Matthew Brown called Who Remembers How It Ends?
So get on out there this Thursday to enjoy some snack-sized films!
When: Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 7:00 pm
