Nearly There: The Karate Kid III and The Next Karate Kid

To wrap up my look-back on the Karate Kid series, I am reviewing The Karate Kid Part III (1989) and The Next Karate Kid (1994) simultaneously. I’m not sure how many of you out there actually saw The Karate Kid Part III, or even knew of its existence for that matter. In my opinion, that’s a good thing. Despite my evident love for The Karate Kid and most of its associates, I borderline hated this movie (and unfortunately most critics felt the same back in ’89). I really do not want to spend too long discussing it. There’s just something I don’t like about a bad idea, and the poor execution of said bad idea. Read more
