Review: Couples Retreat
If there ever was a Hollywood film to help improve and reignite passion and love into the lives of couples worldwide, I doubt Dr. Phil had Couples Retreat in mind; especially with the fast talking, manipulative motormouth of Vince Vaughn headlining. As therapeutic and serious as the film itself tried to be (something we failed to see in the trailer), it offered little to no insight on how to reconcile and triumphantly tread the waters of marriage. To be brutally honest, the film itself was no retreat for the couples, just a sad retreat from the Swinger days of Vaughn and Favreau. Read more
