Review: Larry Crowne
Larry Crowne – written by, directed by, and starring Tom Hanks – definitely carries good intentions and tries pretty hard with the positive thinking, but it succeeds only partially. There are some moments of spontaneity that for the most part have little to do with the point the film is actually trying to make. The movie fails when it tries too hard, only showing glimmers of hope when the cast is allowed to have fun rather than force a message onto the viewers....
